Liberation Days celebrations to be held across the island this year to limit numbers in Town
Liberation Day is the most important day in Guernsey's calendar but once again, we will need to celebrate it in a different way this year. While the island is now restriction-free internally, Liberation Day activities in Town will be limited. Instead, there will be a focus on celebrating with family, friends and neighbours within our parish communities.

2021 Liberation Day Plans Underway
Liberation Day organisers have confirmed that plans for the 2021 celebration are underway for Sunday 9th May and are continuing to work behind the scenes on events and activities for the day.
The team are closely following advice from Public Health and, whilst there is no fixed deadline for announcing how the day will be celebrated, a decision will be made well in advance of Liberation Day, giving islanders enough time to prepare.
